Job position programmer
enerGQ provides solutions based on artificial intelligence that help our customers detect and exploit opportunities for optimization of operations and maintenance in facilities. Customers of ours use this to use less energy, produce more sustainably, and/or have fewer outages. We do this for small office buildings to larger industry such as data centers and factories, but also various objects of the Department of Public Works.
By reading customer systems, sometimes placing energy meters (including 4G gateways), and using machine learning (AI) to link this data to other relevant parameters such as process and weather data, we can create the insights needed to optimize operations. This allows customers to save costs by reducing energy consumption, increase product quality and prevent failures making maintenance more predictable and so on.
Our software is compatible with large-scale data acquisition platforms such as those of AVEVA PI (formerly OSIsoft Pi), is fully in-house developed and processes large amounts of time series data (both batch and streaming).
We are looking for an all-round programmer who can work well independently and accurately on all our systems.
We currently work with the following programming languages:
- Java (this is what we do most of our work in)
- Golang
- Python
- C#
- Javascript/HTML for front-end visualizations.
We use systems like Hibernate and GWT, prefer to work on Linux systems (but also Windows), prefer to run our software using Docker and develop our own software for embedded gateways up to and including cloud servers.
Experience in any of these languages and systems is a plus, but not a must.
We are a small company of 8 men/women in total, the software team will be formed with one other programmer with whom we work a lot together.
Daily duties will include:
- Server software maintenance
- Development
We offer you a challenging work environment in a small and flexible company where you can make a big difference for yourself; us; and of course the world.
Does this sound like you? If yes then I would like to invite you for an interview.
